When contact with high temperature, as energy just run from the higher to lower, the phase change material will absorb the heat from the higher and slowly change from solid state into liquid state. At this time ,the PCM's temperature do not change. Untill all PCM change into liquid state, its temperature starts to go up,this progress can last for several hours.

The PCM chair cooling pad keeps the temperature cool. When the temperature is below 26℃, the PCM is in solid state, we can feel cool in this situation. When the temperature is above 26℃, it can absorb the body heat and constantly change into liquid as the tempeature is highert and higher, thus to reduce temperature and keep cool, keep the constant temperature at 26°C.
